Let's Start From Here

I have been telling myself to slow things down, but there would be no specific definition on how slow things should be... I have been spending my past 3 weeks travelling round Canada, not the whole of it of course, but this trip did not turn out as what I've expected. No inspiration, nothing...

Coming to the end of my trip, only did I learn something new, something that might sound silly to most, but often forgotten as a fact of life. It all started when I board Air Canada flight CX923 bound for Hong Kong as my transit stop. Seated next to me, was a Chinese lady, and my direct response to her? Self 'defense' of course! Be it stereotyping or what, I have always thought that these people often creates trouble, disturbing your sleep, talking too loudly on the plane, or simply just being an annoying 'thing' on board.

This is my confession, the first in this public blog, that I have been such an idiot, an idiot who has forgotten where I came from, my origin, my own race and my own culture. I immediately turned into a total stranger, and I replied all her friendly gestures... in English! Simply just to keep a safe distance from her, in order to lessen any form of communication between us two. Through this way, I simply thought that she would not be a burden to me throughout the journey.

What I did was definitely wrong. The moment breakfast was served, she quickly offered me her dessert, a slice of blackforest cake, a slice of it, which I would be remembering for life...

She could not consume any food products which contains high quantity of sugar, and her first choice was to offer it to me, since the next nearest person was someone of a different ethnicity... This event has somehow made me realize, that I am, who I am, and nothing could change this fact. We are one, so why bother separating from each other? Why bother, fighting against our own kind?

Ethnicity is just a minor part of it. We live in such a wonderful world, why bother destroying it in our own hands? We, together as humans, disregard of colors and race, could we, change the world ??

Let's just start all over again... could we...?

Never Once The Right Time

It is now that I can really sit down and start blogging. Had been rather busy these days with work, college and night classes. The 'to-do list' seems like it's never ending...

Putting all these aside, I have came to realize that I'm always missing whenever something happens, and I'm rather feeling guilty about it. First off, was when the news of the demise of my good-old-friend's father. It happened all out of a sudden, as I was overseas enjoying my holidays... What a 'good' thing to do when a good friend is in pain huh?

Then comes the news of the death of our ex-college mate, whom I am not really that close to... A student who had just been to the US for a month or two, got involved in a hit-and-run case, and died simply just like that ?! After all the news spreading around college for days, only did I realized that he was once a classmate of mine ?!

After these two cases, do you think it is time that it should be over yet? No. Here comes the news from another good friend of mine, that he had just lost his father too! The worst part of it, is that I couldn't even afford to spare some time to attend the funeral! So, work, college and night classes... Uptight schedules and appointments... What's all these for ??!! Seriously a moment to ponder huh?

I guess, all I could say now is that, my condolences to all parties involved, and may the souls of all three men, Mr. Lim, Bryan C. and Mr. How... may you, rest in peace...

The Beginning of a New Chapter

It has been rather long since the last time I had posted pictures up here. I think I had even forgotten how to edit the HTML codes!

Anyway, I've come to a point where I hope to see some changes as well as to make it happen at the same time, in me, myself especially. Throughout these days of running around... or should it be called running 'away' instead, being 'away' from all these unwanted troubles and frustration, I've definitely learned and understood all the wrong doings I had done.

I tend to appreciate life, not the way it is currently, but how it should be instead. Changing, for a good cause is easier said than done, but when there are many factors running through your mind, then it might have a slight chance of turning into reality.

This night, the 9th of September, 2010 marks an end to certain things in my life. But in return, it also marks the start of a new beginning, a time when things SHOULD 'change'...

I would like to therefore take this opportunity to thank those who are here with me & for me, to thank people who had given & are giving their support, in making these changes in me. I believe you people out there know who your are, and I sincerely thank you.

Drove my car over to Hyundai, SS2 for the salesman to value my car. Since the appointment ended early, called Hollie up for breakfast. Picked him up from his place and headed over to Pappa Rich, Solaris Dutamas to chill there for the afternoon. Dropped him off at The Curve before driving to HELP.

After Art Appreciation, came back to Hartamas Shopping Centre to wait for Marcia's call. While waiting, went into Mercato to shop for some candies and chocolates. The funny part was when Marcia waited for me in front of Taylor's main entrance while I was waiting in front of HSC's main entrance! My bad, my bad...

So, Marcia called up to reconfirm, and that's when we finally met up! Funny moments, really... Went up to Starbucks for a tea-break, where Lou Por Chai wanted me to share 2 pieces of cakes with her... No appetite lar today... *Sorry, could not sacrifice this for my wife this time... Jangan marah k?*

Had a long chit-chat session there, before realizing that Gar Jun's sister was sitting somewhere near our table! *Bocor rahsia? No no... We are legitimate!*

Chilled there till it even started raining heavily outside! So, come evening, dropped Lou Por Chai home before coming back to take a rest.

At night, joined Gar Jun, Royce, Hollie and gang at Geo's Street Cafe till late.

After class, went straight to Matsuba Japanese Restaurant to wait for the rest to arrive Hartamas Square. Had my starters there before joining them at the other side. Naz came early. So, he joined me in the restaurant for a good catch-up session.

The night was spent with the big group of HELP, which includes Naz, Angeline, Nadira, Iddin, Elza and the Korean gang, Hyun, Shin Il and Khan over at Hartamas Square. Crossed over to Geo's Street Cafe after that with part of the gang to chill till late.

MC110 Presentation Day

Went to HELP for my Human Communication presentation today. Elza started off first, which could easily change our minds whether to continue with our presentations, or to practice and improve before going up!

After the presentation, drove my car to the car wash centre behind Devi's Corner to get my car cleaned up. Had my dinner at Bestari's while waiting. Crossed over to Geo's Street Cafe for a while.

At night, sometime around 8 pm, drove over to Angeline's place to meet up with her. Completed our Statistics assignment right before it reaches midnight!

Had an appointment with Victor from Hyundai, SS2. Went with my family members to test drive the new Grand Starex Royale before making an order for it. Lunch was at Sea Park, PJ before coming back home.

Drove over to Royce's place to pick him up before heading to 1 Utama to visit the Hyundai road show there. Packed some snacks and drove off to In House Restaurant, Solaris Dutamas to chill for the evening. Dropped Royce home before coming back.

At night, went for dinner with my parents at Jalan 222.

TTDI Photoshoot With Angeline, Lynette & Nadira

Went for breakfast with Angeline at TTDI Jaya Restaurant before crossing over to Taman Rimba Kiara to meet up with Iddin. Set up of photography equipments was done before Lynette and Nadira arrived. Photography session went well, except that I was rather disappointed with some of the colours of the pictures. It's just not contrasty enough. Did not came out as what I've expected.

Came back home for a quick shower before pushing off to Camp 5, 1 Utama to wait for Gar Jun and Royce to arrive. Rock climbing session went on till evening.

At night, came home to meet up with Sophia and family before pushing off for dinner at San Kar Hei Restaurant, Jalan Kuching.

Realized that I'm just a few steps away to complete my Pro Speed Belt Modular Set. So, drove down to Cam Zone @ Jaya 33 to grab another 2 more modular pouches (Speed Changer & Lightning Fast).

Went back to HELP to attend the AA101 quiz before starting on our carving project. We were required to carve an object out of a bar soap!

At night, waited for Gar Jun's call before pushing off to Delicious, Bangsar Village II with him. This event was to celebrate Crystal's birthday, just a day before the actual date.

Left the group and drove back to Geo's Street Cafe to chill for the night.

Rotary Club of Sg. Way

Before going to HELP, went over to Cam Zone @ Jaya 33 to get my camera equipments. Grabbed a few of Think Tank Photo modular pouches (Lens Changer 15 & 50) as well as a Pro Speed Belt.

At night, drove down to Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club to meet up with Royce and family to join them for the Rotary Club of Sg. Way's dinner, meeting and appreciation night. It was a small gathering of the members as well as some German delegates. It was definitely an interesting event that I'd attended.

Sent my car in to Damansara Auto Rally for servicing. Dad dropped me off at HELP for my Advertising Presentation. Then, went back to the workshop to collect my car sometime around the afternoon.

Drove straight down to 1 Utama to sign up for a One Card as well as to check out on some rock climbing equipments.

On the way back, stopped by at In House Restaurant, Solaris Dutamas to chill for the evening.

Followed my family members over to Puchong to visit my aunt's family. After lunch, had to work on my presentation materials for Advertising while they were busy chit-chatting.

Then, all of them followed us to Villa Yarl to view our house there. Dinner was at Kepong Baru before fetching mum to the banks in Damansara Uptown. Upon dropping them home, went over to Geo's Street Cafe to meet up with Hollie and Gar Jun.

Accompanied mum for lunch at Amarins Thai, Mid Valley Megamall along with Hubert and Mildred. Then, went into Wah Chan to grab some items before leaving.

In the evening, drove down to Plaza Damansara to guide Hollie's mum's friend to their place. Had a steamboat dinner along with Hollie, Gar Jun, Suraj, Crystal, Chin and Jun Yu.

Then, Gar Jun followed me over to Wai Keat's place for his open house after that. Joined them for a while before crossing over to Geo's to chill for the night.

Picked Hollie up and headed down to Foto Data, Mid Valley Megamall to collect my new lens, a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Lens. Managed to grab a HOYA 77mm UV(0) Lens Filter there as well. Gar Jun came over to join us after that. Lunch was at Pappa Rich Restaurant, The Gardens Mall.

After lunch, went up to The Gardens Club to do some product photography while waiting for Gar Jun to come back from his interview.

Hollie went off. So, brought Gar Jun along to Camp 5 to meet up with Royce for our rock climbing session. Imagine being 'on belay', all ropes tied properly, but both leaning against the wall, watching 'other' people climb... Great 'view' huh?

At night, drove back to Geo's Street Cafe to chill before coming back home. Gar Jun stayed over for the night.

The food there was superb! What really surprises me was the quality of the food even with that amount of customers! However, the quality of their service there is just slightly above average. Was expecting it to be better though...

Brunch with Queena

Received a message from Queena last night, asking to meet up for brunch. So, drove over to her place to pick her up and headed straight down to Pappa Rich Restaurant, Solaris Dutamas. The parking there was really a horror, that they even have to come up with a section called the 'Ladies Parking'! Scary enough? Then, the walk up towards the lobby was worse! Added with the 'spice' of Queena's stories about the dead Indonesian worker there, who dares to walk around alone?

Our class starts at the same time, in which we had pushed off at around 12.00 pm to park my car at the main block. Took the shuttle bus over to KPD, where we went off to our respective classes.

Anyway, thanks for being here for me, your presence really helps! Just when I needed it most...

While I was waiting at the ADP's office for my Statistics replacement quiz, Mr. Ho came in to offer me a ride to the meeting venue. Now, that was random! So, cancelled my quiz and followed Elaine over to the Royal Commonwealth Club for lunch as well as to attend for the ADP meeting there. We were brought for a short tour around the club by our head of department himself, Mr. Ho Kin Chai.

It's Been 2 Weeks, We Miss You...

I've never come to complete this post, even after almost 2 weeks that she had left us. But anyway, I shall date this to the week of her funeral...

Sometimes, I do wonder, what if she leaves us one day? Will everything be the same? Will everyone be alright? I guess, I have the answers now.....

It was rather hard to believe that she had left us for good, but it is definitely harder to accept the fact that we no longer have a grandma to go home to.....

I was in great disbelief, as I was receiving numerous calls from various people at the hospital, and nothing can be done from my side, waiting in my house for the latest news. I could not bring myself to believe, that I am asked to drive to a funeral home. I could not bring myself to believe, that I am holding my grandma's hands, for the last time.....

And I'm feeling the guilt already, the guilt in which I don't think by doing anything else now could erase all these thoughts off me. From the moment she asked for her usual breakfast menu, I just told her to wait for Felix to come home from Canada, and so, I just got her what I think is suitable. It didn't come to my mind that it might be her last request... Well, it was really her last one this time.....

A message came to my phone from Felix in the middle of the night, a message which had left me in tears for the whole long night. We are in so much grief here, but never to realize how will my brother cope with everything back in Canada. Instead of going back to sleep, stayed up the whole night in order not to be late, to grab the dim sum's on behalf of Felix. As I approached the restaurant there, that's when I finally come to realize, buying grandma's breakfast was definitely a sacrifice for Felix... Standing there, waiting so anxiously and listening to the staff's announcement, one by one, their dim sum was all sold out. I was just lucky enough to be the last one before it's all gone...

I am feeling the guilt, the guilt in me when I start to ponder... The moment she told me that she is about to leave us, I did not discuss any further... How I wish that I could turn back time, and how I wish I could speak to her... Then, at least I could offer to lend a helping hand, if she needed anything before she leaves.....

People could usually cool off after a few days, but that's not happening to anyone of us. We still do miss her, and she will forever, remain in our hearts.....

Today's meant for receiving guests at my grandma's place. So, the last group was my god parents from Batu Pahat, Johor.

Once they had left, mum rushed over to my side and just said one simple sentence, "We have to leave now", and for that, driving through the massive traffic queue was horrible, looking for a parking lot was bad, and what's worse? The elevator was full! Running 5 floors up could kill...

After spending hours waiting there for the doctor to come out, mum asked me to go home to accompany my dad as he doesn't have a car with him.

Came home to take a bath, and that's when she had left us, for good.....

The Grief on CNY

Started the first day of CNY by visiting my grandma at the hospital. Spent quite some time there before going over to the temple for prayers.

Went visiting my relatives after that, in the sequence of 5,3,4,2 (aunts) then 1,2 (uncles). The hardest part of all, was to visit my 3rd aunt... For the fact that she doesn't even know that her son had just passed away, she was definitely left wondering why no one actually visits her place this time of the year...

Anyway, there's too long a story to be explained here though...

My whole family's already in Malacca, except Hubert and I. So, sent him to work early in the morning before coming home to load all the things into the car. Picked him up after that and headed straight down to Malacca.

Since it was the eve of CNY, not a single restaurant was open as we arrived there. The only hope? Old Town Kopitiam...

Grandma was admitted back into the hospital last night, which means that our 'reunion' dinner was with Jennifer's family only.

Spent the night preparing the red packets for mum.

Dinner With Her Majesty The Queen 'A'

Spent the whole afternoon with Mr. Marzuki to finalize our American Flyer, which includes getting our H.O.D., Mr. Ho to sign the Internal Print Request Form and also to meet up with the Document Centre's manager, Mr. Chuan. Had lunch with Mr. Marzuki at the cafeteria below Wisma E&C before leaving.

Stopped by at I House to chill first before going to Maybank, Desa Sri Hartamas to make some payments for my camera accessories. Then, met up with Hollie, Gar Jun, Wai Keat, Suraj and Jun Yu at Devi's Corner. Went back to I House with Wai Keat to chill for the evening along with some food.

Came home to take a rest while waiting for *Her Majesty, Queena*'s call. Drove over to her place to pick her up and headed back down to Matsuba Japanese Restaurant for our dinner.

After dropping Queena home, came back to change my car to mum's car and headed down to Geo's Street Cafe to meet up with Wai Keat. Chilled there till late.

Mum's Birthday Celebration @ Basil Thai, BV 1

After class, drove back home to get changed before pushing off to Basil Thai Restaurant, Bangsar Village 1 to meet up with Sophia and family. Had a lavish dinner there, and guess what? Of all people, I met the whole bunch of my primary schoolmates, seated right beside my table! People like Soo Miew Ling, Tee Tam Mee, Ting Yang Chuen, Deepak Pal Singh and many more. Good old memories huh?

Went over to Mid Valley Megamall after that to stock up on our CNY materials. While the rest of my family members were busy doing their grocery-shopping, went upstairs to check out on some camera accessories.

Looking forward for a new lens, hopefully after CNY, when all my ang-pows start to pile up! But wait, what's the current economic situation in Malaysia? Let's just hope things are going well... If not, you might even find coins in your red packet!

Reach home from Malacca in the evening, at around 5.30 pm. Rushed to complete my Advertising assignment and sent the files to our client before pushing off to 1 Utama to meet up with Royce.

Went for rock climbing again at Camp 5, with David and Danial giving us some advices on different climbing routes. It was definitely a good time to climb especially when it's rather empty in there, and being so tired after a whole day's driving. At least it's my chance to loosen up a bit, away from all the stresses lately...

Besides that, managed to grab myself a new belay set, which includes a Fuse Belay Device as well as an Element HMS Biner.

Malacca Emergency Trip

After a whole day at college, joined Angeline's parents at Pappa Rich Restaurant, Solaris Dutamas for dinner. Drove over to her place after that for a group study. The best part of all was driving her DAD in MY car! Pressure much...

Upon starting on our group study for Statistics, received an emergency call. So, rushed all the way back home, packed my clothes within seconds, and off we go, back to Malacca as my grandma's critically ill.

Once there, I was rather surprised by the presence of almost everyone in the family. Imagine my small little house in Malacca, being flooded with uncles & aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. A whole lot of them...

Received a really bad news early in the morning.

It is with deepest sympathy to announce the demise of my cousin, Mr. Lim Kok Hau, who has passed away early this morning, on the 8th of February, 2010.

My condolences to all family members, including his mother, wife, daughter, siblings and relatives. It is with regret for not being able to make it for his funeral as the body was laid to rest in Shenzhen, China. The reason in which he was working there for the past few years.

Drove back to Malacca in the morning, reaching there sometime close to lunch hours. Stopped by at our place to visit my grandma before going over to Wilson Chicken Rice for lunch.

Spent the whole afternoon editing the American Flyer Magazine in the room, all the way till dinner hours. Packed home some hawker food since it was raining heavily outside, in which it's not really a good idea to eat out.

Pushed off back to KL at around 10.00 pm, and headed straight down to Geo's Street Cafe after that to chill till late.

Basic Wall Course @ Camp 5 + Dinner @ Italiannies, The Gardens Mall

After class, rushed over to Camp 5, 1 Utama to meet up with Royce as we had intended to join the Basic Wall Course along with Angeline. However, Angeline got stuck in a massive traffic queue, in which the marshals at Camp 5 wouldn't allow her to join us. Still feel bad about it though...

Overall, the course was real good as it really gave us an in-depth knowledge about wall climbing. It's definitely something you wouldn't get when you climb with the pros as we usually get pampered with them preparing and setting up everything for you. Thumbs up to our instructor, Zam as well as the marshals there, Zul and Ashraf!

Then, rushed back home to collect my camera bag, leaving behind my gym bag. Joined the whole gang of my ex-secondary schoolmates at Italiannies, The Gardens Mall for Pamela's belated-birthday party cum Delima's farewell party. That's when the photography session starts!

After everything's done, came back to Geo's Street Cafe to chill with the gang.

After our advertising class, went over to WonderMilk, Damansara Utama for lunch with Iddin. Continued with our American Flyer work there as well before going back to college for our statistics class.

Then, drove Angeline's French group to her place to work on her advertising project's photo shoot. The journey there was hell as it started to rain.

Once done with everything at Angeline's place, went over to pick Hollie up and headed straight down to Rasta, TTDI to meet up with the rest of the gang. Chilled there for the night.

In the afternoon, drove down to Ali Maju Restaurant, Pusat Bandar Damansara to meet up with the French group, which includes Melinda, Claire, Pierre and Francois. Had our lunch there before collecting my car.

Headed down to Embershoppe, The Curve to have our discussion there. Come late afternoon, drove Claire over to KL Sentral, followed by dropping the rest off at Kiara Park Condominiums, TTDI.

Decided to stop by at 1 Utama to visit the All Sports Equipment. Had one hell of a bad experience where I just can't get a parking lot, petrol tank running empty and no one to take over the car while I pay for the parking ticket at the autopay station!

So, arranged for a V.I.P. car park right at the entrance, paid for my ticket, went out to fuel up my car and finally went back in! First stop was to check out the 'basic wall course' schedule over at Camp 5 before going down to All Sports Equipment. Managed to grab a Petzl SAMA Harness before leaving.

After waking up for breakfast in the morning, both of us just couldn't resist but to go back to bed! Halfway through, Jennifer suddenly thought of doing some facial for me.

Without realizing, it was already way past lunch hours! So, drove down to Wilson Chicken Rice for some food before driving around town to pack some snacks. Back at home, it was bed time, again !!

Once done, it was time for dinner already! So, went with the whole family over to Seng Kee Restaurant for dinner before going to the hospital to visit my grandma.

Pushed off back to KL at around 10 pm. Got stuck in a massive traffic queue somewhere near Seremban, reaching home at half past midnight.

Went down to Geo's Street Cafe to chill with the gang till late.

Went over to Tesco, Mutiara Damansara to stock up on some drinks in preparation for the Chinese New Year.

Once dad got back from his appointment in the evening, pushed off back to Malacca, reaching there at 11.00 pm sharp. Dropped dad and Mildred home first before sending mum over to the hospital to look after my grandma.

Drove down to Jennifer's place to wait for her. Our initial plan was to go for Capitol Satay Celup, but it was over crowded as usual. So, visited the Asia Fun Park instead. After enjoying ourselves with the games there, stopped by at Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup for supper.

Went back home at around 3 am with Jennifer staying over as well.

Mildred followed me down to Wisma HP to look for the nasi lemak guy, but the stall wasn't opened. So, went all the way to Nasi Lemak Tangling instead.

After breakfast, took a short drive down to Kelana Mall, Kelana Jaya to meet up with Taraj and Lynnda. Had a short discussion while having lunch over at Pappa Rich Cafe. The performers arrived late today. Come 3 something in the afternoon, brought in all the equipments for the photo and video shoot for the day. The event ended slightly before 6 pm.

Drove back to Geo's Street Cafe to wait for Cheong Junn to arrive. Packed KFC for dinner. CJ suggested 1 Utama to just hang out there. So, among those places we managed to cover was a few games of pool at OSC, camera shops as well as the rock climbing accessories shop. My new aim? A new set of rock climbing equipments which includes a harness and a pair of climbing shoes! Hopefully...

Desert at Baskin Robins before CJ dropped me home.

Drove over to college early in the morning to settle my course fees at main block before taking the shuttle bus over to KPD. Stopped by at the bank in Wisma UOA first before going over to Mr. Marzuki's office. Met up with Angeline there to compile the American Flyer Magazine. After everyone left, continued working at Marzuki's office, and that's when every lecturer who passed-by basically just stopped and stared at me! New lecturer in ADP !!

Heading back towards Wisma HELP, managed to grab a drink at Roti Man before attending AA 101. Took a drive down to mum's office at SS2 to have my lunch. Came home with mum after that.

Skipped dinner to take a nap, followed by picking Hollie up at his place. Went over to Geo's to meet up with Royce, Suraj, Tan, Crystal and Chin. Crossed over to Devi's Corner after that to chill till midnight. Dropped Hollie home after that.

Charity Book Signing Event by Amir Mohammad

After BA 312, went over to Chillax with Angeline to have a drink. Managed to grab a few tubs of Chinese New Year Cookies as our *breakfast* before Iddin picked us up.

Headed down to the main block to prepare my gadgets for the photoshoot which is scheduled to start in another hours time, at 12.00 pm sharp. The event went well, with Amir Muhammad giving his talk on Yasmin Ahmad's films and production.

Managed to meet this photographer cum reporter from Kosmo! who turns out to be a real friendly guy. Shared some opinions and he gave some advices on choosing the right lenses for my upgrade.

Skipping lunch, went straight into statistics class. Once done, drove over to Hollie's place to pick him up and headed down to Sakae Sushi, The Curve for my lunch. Dessert from both MBG as well as Embershoppe!

Came back to Bestari's for our dinner, where Royce, Miyumi and Rachel joined us there. Crossed over to Geo's after that to chill for the night.

TTDI Photo Shoot With Sharon & Marcia

First stop in the morning was to pick Michelle up, our make-up artist for the day, followed by Sharon and Marcia. Reached Taman Rimba Kiara, TTDI at around 10 am to unload our equipments and to prepare for the photo shoot session.

All in all, the photo shoot session was a success with the help of our make-up artist as well as both the models of the day. Went for lunch at TTDI before dropping Sharon and Marcia off at their church. Then, drove down to Yippee Cup, SS2 to pack some bubble tea before dropping Michelle home.

Accompanied mum over to The Gardens Mall for her grocery shopping while I went hunting around for a new camera lens! Dinner was at Canton-i with Hubert joining us as well.

Our class ended at around 4 pm. Drove over to Nadira's place to pick her up before heading towards Camp 5, 1 Utama. Angeline and Lynette arrived shortly after. Then, Danial checked us in as guests of Jane.

After the rock climbing session, went down to Burger King to meet up with Iddin for dinner. Dropped Lynette home after that.

Last but not least, stopped by at Devi's Corner to chill for the night while doing some clean-up on my camera.

Due to the interrupted sleeping hours, had to cancel all my morning appointments and head straight down to college. Waited near the elevator area for Angeline to arrive as I definitely wouldn't want to walk into AA101 - Art Appreciation all alone! The question is, why the heck am I in AA ??

Took the shuttle bus again over to main block. Due to the enormous space we have in the bus, being it in a rather empty condition, Angeline and I took separate seats, and that got her a new *stalker* !!

Lunch was at All About Mee with Lynette joining us shortly after. Went down to the Registry to meet up with Nadira and Leanne, followed by enrolling ourselves into the different subjects we take. *We are on the same boat again, Angeline*

After MC110, took a drive back to Hartamas Square for dinner. While on the way there, saw Queena's car, waiting right behind mine! I was sure at that moment that it's her, when she was busy looking at the mirror, tidying up her hair !! It was rather fun talking to a person through the phone when she's right behind you !!

Crossed over to Geo's Street Cafe to chill with the gang after that.

Drove over to The Curve after that to meet back up with Angeline, Nadira, Elza as well as Iddin over at Marche. *All the hype about the scandalicious couple huh?*

Crossed over to Laundry Bar after that the watch Afiq's band perform there. The other bands took so long to finish !! Once done, walked Maxime back to her car, where she in return, drove me back to my car. It surely made me feel bad making her take all the weird turnings just to reach the exit. That's my short-cut actually... My bad...

Ok, I realize that this post is really a different one compared to what I normally write, especially when it's full of names, loads of details and NO PICTURES !! Even for an event !! So much for carrying a LAPTOP to an event, and NOT A CAMERA !! KILL ME !!

I was rather in shock as I walked into BA312 early in the morning, to find that I'm being surrounded by an all-French class! Thank god Angeline came shortly after...

So, we took the shuttle bus over to the main block to get Mc. Donald's for breakfast. Angeline's way of eating the Sausage Mc. Muffin? Weird, but definitely unique... Very creative with the syrup and ketchup huh ??

Best part of all, Angeline brought me through all the weird places, the main roads as well as the back lanes, and even to the drainage area, just to get to KPD Block E !! Definitely my first time walking from that point A to point B. Thanks for showing me the way, and I hope I could find my way the next time I attempt walking again!

After the whole day being at college, reached home by 6 pm and went to bed immediately. Slept all the way till 10 pm, when I made the decision to pack Nasi Goreng Kampung from Bestari. Brought it over to Geo's Street Cafe (new name) and just chilled there till late. Waited for the rain to stop before coming back home.

I thought I was late as I arrived college a few minutes after the scheduled time, but as I received Angeline's message, I knew I'm not the only one... So, I went in for BA 312 - Advertising, and Angeline tried out MA 123 - Calculus, just next door of mine.

Went for lunch at Chillax Cafe, Wisma E&C, our long lost chill-out location. Dad went over to pick me up after that.

Once home, took my car and headed down to One Utama to meet up with Hollie and Keith. Watched 'Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant' before going for a tea-break at Burger King.

Hollie followed me home after that to chill while waiting to meet up with Jun Yu and gang. After dinner, joined them at Devi's Corner as I needed to do some editing work for the American Flyer Magazine.

My godparents came over in the morning to pick me up. Went over to Tesco to get some prayer items before going to Chen Hoon Teng Temple to offer prayers. Then, went back to my aunt's place to exchange drivers, in which my god brother and god sister took over as we headed down to Dataran Pahlawan. Had my lunch there before watching Avatar in 3D.

After the movie, my god father came over to pick us up, and brought us to Semabok to join my god mother in the lighting house. Bought some chandeliers there before all of them followed me home to catch up with my parents.

Went back to Malacca yet again to visit my grandma as she was admitted to the hospital for the third time.

After dinner, went over to my aunt's place to join my godparents and family as my god brother and god sister asked me to join them for a movie. Our intention was to watch Avatar in 3D, but the tickets were all sold out. So, watched 'Did You Hear About The Morgans?' and bought the Avatar tickets scheduled tomorrow afternoon.

Once they dropped me home, Jennifer came over and we headed down to Bukit Bruang to have a drink. At around 1.30 am, drove over to Capitol Satay Celup for our supper before going back home. As usual, Jennifer slept over at my place, which means that we practically had insufficient sleep!

Picked Lynette up while on the way to Angeline's place for lunch. Had our discussion for the American Flyer Magazine before leaving.

While heading towards Lynette's place, stopped by to pick Marcia up from her place. Next up was to head back up to Damansara Heights to pick Sharon up, followed by Hartamas to pick Michelle up. Went for a tea-break at Killenney's, Solaris Mon't Kiara. All of them came home with me after that to chill.

Then, dropped them home one by one, starting from Michelle, then Marcia and lastly, Sharon. Reached home just in time to join Sophia and family for dinner at San Kar Hei Restaurant, Jalan Kuching.

Marcia was waiting at Michelle's place. So, went there to pick her up, followed by Sharon. Went over to Joe's Yellow Truck to chill with them for the night. Then, again, dropped Marcia home first, followed by Sharon.

Now, does that sound 'confusing enough' to you ??!! Hahaha...

Came back home to join my family for dinner before driving over to Joe's Yellow Truck to wait for Angeline. Had a 'yum cha' session with her till around 10 something.

After Angeline left, walked over to Devi's Corner to meet up with Gar Jun and gang. Chilled there till around 1 am. Later, Gar Jun followed me home to help me out in some photo selection.

Dinner was at Yan Yan A One Restaurant, right before going into Villa Yarl to meet up with Nicole to view the bungalows there.

Reached home by midnight. Drove over to Joe's Yellow Truck to chill for the night.

Malacca Day Trip

Grandma was admitted to the hospital. So, Gar Jun decided to accompany my parents and I back to Malacca to visit her. Intended to push off early in the morning but due to all the delays, we arrived there just in time for lunch at Wilson Chicken Rice.

After visiting my grandma at the hospital as well as having lunch, dropped my parents home before bringing Gar Jun around town to look for his famous chendol stall which he loves so much, but it was already closed. So, went up to Eye on Malaysia instead.

Visited my grandma again before going for dinner at Wang's Corner. Went back home to pack up as well as to bring Hershey home. Reached KL at 11.00 pm sharp.

After Gar Jun left, went over to Devi's Corner to chill for the night.

Day 15, London - KL

Since we were only a few hours away from our flight, took the opportunity to go for a last-minute shopping spree. Sadly, nothing in Harrods that interest me. So, went into the Zara boutique opposite to grab a few T-shirts before meeting back up with mum.

Mum was deifnitely so anxious after hearing that Chanel is having sales! So, rushed over to the boutique which is located at about 5 minutes walk from Harrods. After mum selected her handbag, the queue at the cashier was crazy! It took us almost an hour to pay for a non-promotional item !!

Went back to our hotel to collect our luggages and the driver came to pick us up to Heathrow Airport. Since we are way early to check in our luggages, managed to settle some stuffs such as claiming our V.A.T. refund, repacking of the shopping goods and so on.

Once we got into the terminal after clearing security, went for more shopping after that! Managed to grab a bottle of D&G perfume before boarding the plane home.

I really felt so left out last night, when everyone had already celebrated the new year 8 hours before I do. I'm home-away-from-home, sitting in the same old room I was at 2 years back, and the best part of all? I did not even join any of them at the River Thames New Year Countdown, one of the most hyped-up place one could ever be! Is that really 'such a waste', or the new year celebrations just aren't attractive enough for me? Wonder how many of such celebrations at New York, London and Hong Kong that I've missed so far... "I'm always there, but just invisible."

So, aunt Irene and uncle Peter came over, all the way up from down south to join us here in London for the new year. Brought them to Four Seasons Restaurant, Chinatown for a sumptuous lunch before taking a walk around town. As they went back to the hotel, Hubert and I took the tube over to Knightsbridge for shopping. Due to the lack of time, only managed to visit Harrods and Harvey Nichols to grab some items before going back to the hotel.

Joined the whole family again for dinner back at my parent's room, where dad and uncle Peter went over to Chinatown to pack food for us. After some chit-chatting with them, it was already time as they had to leave London. Sent them off outside our place.

Day 13, London

My parents went out early in the morning to get us some breakfast from Saintsburry. Spent the whole morning in the room booking some tickets online. Come afternoon, went back to Chinatown to queue up for Four Seasons Restaurant to have our lunch. When I mention about the queue, we were actually the first group there, but the amount of people behind us.....?

London seems to be pretty much the same to me every year. Nothing changes except my own self... Walking along the streets of downtown London, visiting the Marble Arch, taking a stroll down Hyde Park, where else can we go.....?

As we were walking along New Bond Street, stopped by at Burberry to grab some Polo T-Shirts before taking a train over to Westminster. Did a short photography session of The Big Ben, The Parliament House as well as the London Eye before coming back to our hotel to leave our shopping bags.

Went back to Chinatown for dinner at New Fook Lam Moon Restaurant. Came back to the hotel after that.

Day 12, Milan - London

Took a morning flight back to London, reaching London Heathrow Airport in the evening. Took the Underground tube service down to our hotel.

Walked over to Wan Chai Corner Restaurant, Chinatown for dinner before walking around places nearby.

Mum and dad went back to the hotel after that. So, Hubert and I walked over to Costa Coffee, SoHo for a drink. Later, went into SoHo Original Bookshop to get some magazines. Couldn't stop buying those magazines till we had spent almost 3 hours inside the underground book store !! I can seriously imagine how proud my parents would be if those were to be *educational books* instead...
